U2 - Achtung Baby

This album is still amazballs.  I have been a fan of U2's since their first single hit Mtv back in the Day, I Will Follow form their 1980 debut album Boy.  Achtung Baby was released 11 years later and was their 7th Studio album.  It peaked at #1 in the US and in the UK.  The list of songs on this album is incredible.  Not a bad song among them.  Sounds just as fresh as it did when it was released.

This album was right after Rattle and Hum.  It was a total 180 direction change for the group.

3.  One - This song was written impromptu during the fights during the recording sessions responsible for this album.  They almost broke up.  This song was the result of them dealing with their personal relationships and the German Reunification at the same time, they were in Berlin recording this.  This song helped them put their differences behind them about the direction of the album and the group...and what a wonderful song it is.  Watch and listen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftjEcrrf7r0
